Ioana Miron, Attorney
Ioana’s passion for immigration law comes from living the immigration experience first-hand. She is a native of Romania who earned her first law degree from the University of Bucharest School of Law in 1997. She practiced law for two years in Romania before immigrating to the United States in 1999. In the United States, Ioana worked first as a paralegal in the area of insurance law, and then went back to school and earned a second J.D. degree from the University of Washington School of Law in 2007. 2007 was also the year when Ioana became a United States Citizen. As someone whose life has been directly affected by U.S. immigration laws, Ioana identifies with her clients and relates to their stories in a very personal way. Ioana’s practice focuses on family-based immigration matters, U.S. citizenship and naturalization issues, and removal defense. Ioana is a member of the Washington State Bar and the American Immigration Law Association. She is fluent in Romanian. |
